Stays with a dog
Your 4-legged friend stays for free at Le Chat Vert!
Many of you have asked us if you can bring your dog during your stay.
We love ALL animals immensely, and we ourselves have three cats who are an integral part of our family. We therefore completely understand your desire to go on vacation with your four-legged friend.
Having pets ourselves, we know that they can be unpredictable despite their good behavior and the best intentions of their "humans" ;-) We have nevertheless decided to give it a try and allow stays with a dog outside of peak season (for the moment).
To ensure these stays take place in the best possible conditions, we have implemented a few conditions and rules of good conduct to respect your pet and ours, and to respect the property. We hope for your understanding and ask that you accept these conditions and rules in order to stay at Le Chat Vert with your dog.

One dog at a time
We have three furry friends who rule the garden: our cats Paspareil, Néo, and Suisui. They are quite old and have their own habits.
They've already had visits from family or friends with their dog, which went very well.
However, we don't want to stress them out any more than necessary so we'd like to limit stays with a dog to only one dog at a time for the moment.

Your dog stays for free, but we ask for a security deposit
Most hosts/hotels charge an additional €10-20 per day for your dog and/or an additional cleaning fee. We don't want to "take advantage" of your love for your pet.
We don't believe that having a dog justifies any additional charge. It won't "use" the apartment more, and it won't dirty the property to the point of justifying an additional cleaning fee.
We disinfect our apartments and thoroughly clean them after each change of guests, regardless of the condition of the apartment. Therefore, having a dog will not add "more work" to our work.
But a dog is still an animal and can be unpredictable despite good training and your vigilance.
Since Le Chat Vert is our main source of income, not only a supplement, we must "protect" ourselves from a possible loss of income. For our reassurance, we ask for a slightly higher security deposit. This deposit is only used to cover any significant damage.
The security deposit for a standard stay with us is €100-€300 in cash, depending on the length of your stay. When you stay with a dog, we ask for a slightly higher security deposit of €500 in cash to cover any damage. This deposit will be fully refunded on the day of departure, provided no damage is noted during your stay, which we trust will be the case.

Out of high season
We are committed to providing each guest with impeccable, comfortable, and well-maintained accommodations.
Stays with dogs are therefore, for the moment, only permitted from September to June.
Even if your furry friend is well-behaved, they are still animals. Incidents can occur despite your vigilance and goodwill. During peak season (July and August), these incidents are more difficult for us to manage.
